Windows IIS Web Server

Microsoft web server platform for hosting web applications and internal services.

How I Use Windows IIS

In my previous roles, I managed enterprise Windows IIS web servers supporting both internal and client-facing applications. I configured application pools for optimal performance, implemented caching strategies, and applied security hardening measures. This ensured high availability and minimal downtime across production environments.

I also automated deployments using PowerShell scripts, monitored server health and logs, and integrated IIS with SQL Server backends and Active Directory authentication. These practices improved operational efficiency and reduced incident response time.

Personally, working with IIS taught me to balance performance, security, and maintainability. I gained hands-on experience troubleshooting complex web server issues and learned best practices for enterprise web hosting.
